AUTOMOTIVE PAINT BOOTHS FOR INDIANA SHOPS
From Indianapolis to smaller regional collision centers across the state, our paint booths are built to perform in Indiana's humid summers and freezing winters. We design systems that maintain proper curing temperatures and clean finishes through dramatic seasonal shifts, helping shops reduce rework and keep cycle times tight while meeting Indiana Department of Environmental Management air quality requirements.
INDUSTRIAL PAINT BOOTHS FOR INDIANA MANUFACTURING
Indiana manufacturers need paint booths that can handle heavy use and deliver consistent results. Whether you are coating automotive components, agricultural equipment, metal parts, or large assemblies, our booths are engineered for durability and reliable performance in a state where temperature swings between seasons can stress finishing systems and impact cure quality. Indiana's deep roots in auto manufacturing and heavy industry demand finishing equipment built to production level standards.
CUSTOM PAINT BOOTH SOLUTIONS FOR ANY INDIANA APPLICATION
We offer all paint booth types including crossflow, semi downdraft, side downdraft, and full downdraft systems. Each booth is built around your space, production needs, and compliance requirements under the Indiana Department of Environmental Management to ensure proper ventilation, filtration, and long term performance. Whether your facility is in Fort Wayne, Evansville, South Bend, or anywhere across the Hoosier State, we match the right system to your operation.

Most frequent questions and answers
WHAT TYPES OF AUTO PAINT BOOTHS DO YOU OFFER IN INDIANA?
We supply all paint booth types, including tabletop units, open-face booths, crossflow, semi-downdraft, side downdraft, and full downdraft systems. Whether you’re a small shop or a large industrial operation, we match the booth to your production needs.
WHAT PAINT BOOTH REGULATIONS EXIST IN INDIANA?
Paint booths and finishing systems in Indiana are primarily regulated by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM). These rules focus on air quality including VOC emissions, particulate control, and filtration requirements. Indiana’s state rule for automobile refinishing, 326 IAC 8-10, regulates VOC emissions from refinishing processes by limiting VOC content of coatings and requiring work practice standards to limit evaporation of volatile compounds. Local fire codes and building codes also apply, especially around exhaust, fire suppression, and system layout.
DO I NEED A PERMIT FROM IDEM FOR A PAINT BOOTH IN INDIANA?
In most cases, yes. Indiana’s automobile refinishing rule applies to body shops and repair shops that paint cars, and auto body shops that refinish the equivalent of more than three motor vehicles per year must use low VOC coatings, follow work practice standards to reduce emissions, and comply with recordkeeping and employee training requirements. Larger operations may require a formal air permit through IDEM’s Office of Air Quality, while smaller shops may qualify under a Source Specific Operating Agreement. Our team can help determine the right compliance pathway before installation begins.
HOW DOES INDIANA'S CLIMATE AFFECT PAINT BOOTH PERFORMANCE?
Indiana’s climate brings real finishing challenges on both ends of the spectrum, with humid summers and freezing winters that can directly impact curing, finish quality, and equipment performance. Even minor fluctuations in temperature and humidity can compromise paint adhesion, curing, and overall finish quality, making climate controlled paint booth environments essential for aerospace, automotive, and industrial manufacturing operations where maintaining optimal environmental conditions is critical. Our engineers design Indiana booths with properly sized heating systems, air makeup units, and seasonal climate controls to keep your operation running at spec year round. You can learn more about how heat and humidity affect paint booth performance and what equipment is required to manage it.
ARE THERE SPECIFIC IDEM RULES FOR PAINT BOOTHS IN INDIANA'S OZONE NONATTAINMENT AREAS?
Yes. Shops located in Lake and Porter Counties in Northwest Indiana, which fall within the Chicago area ozone nonattainment zone, are subject to more stringent VOC controls than the rest of the state. IDEM’s VOC rules for Lake and Porter Counties require the application of stricter coating limits, development of work practice plans for coating and cleaning operations, and apply to facilities with uncontrolled emissions exceeding 15 pounds per day of VOC. If your operation is in or near the Northwest Indiana corridor, it is important to confirm which tier of IDEM air quality requirements applies to your facility before selecting and installing a paint booth system. Our team works with shops across all Indiana counties and can help ensure your booth configuration and coating processes meet the applicable local and state standards from the start.
DO YOU OFFER PAINT BOOTHS FOR LARGE PROJECTS OR PAINT LINES IN INDIANA?
Yes. We design and supply paint booths for large scale Indiana operations, including full paint lines for manufacturing, fleet refinishing, heavy equipment coating, and high volume production. Indiana’s deep roots in automotive and agricultural equipment manufacturing create strong demand for production level finishing systems built to handle continuous workflows, larger parts, and higher throughput. All large scale coating operations are subject to IDEM air permitting requirements under 326 IAC, and we configure every system to meet those standards from day one.
